Scope of this policy
This policy covers flossophydentalalliance.com and explains what we collect when you browse the site, submit a form, or call a number listed here.
Your dental records and the health information held by the practice are covered separately, under HIPAA, by our Notice of Privacy Practices. That is a different document and it governs your protected health information. Ask the front desk for a copy, or call (817) 720-0121 and we will send one.
Please do not send detailed health information, diagnoses or images through this website or by ordinary email. Neither is a secure channel. Call the office instead.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. Name, phone number, email address and anything you type into a form or send by email.
- Appointment requests. Bookings are handled by our scheduling provider, Archy, on their own platform and under their privacy terms.
- Call records. Calls to numbers on this site may be routed through a call-tracking service that logs the number, time and duration, so we can tell which pages generate calls.
- Usage data. Pages viewed, approximate location, referring site, browser and device type, collected through Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager.
- Cookies and similar technologies. Used for analytics and measuring advertising performance.
- Server logs. Our web server records IP addresses and requests as a routine part of operating and securing the site.
How we use it
- To respond to enquiries and schedule, confirm or reschedule appointments.
- To verify insurance benefits and provide treatment estimates, where you have asked us to.
- To understand which pages are useful and improve the site.
- To measure our advertising, including audiences and conversion tracking.
- To meet legal, professional and regulatory obligations.
- To protect the site against fraud, abuse and technical attack.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent or trade it either.
We share information only with service providers who help us operate — our scheduling platform, analytics and advertising providers, call tracking, hosting, payment and financing partners — and only as needed to provide that service. We also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of patients, staff or the public.
Third-party services embedded here, including Google Maps, Google Tag Manager, Google Fonts, our booking portal and financing partners such as Cherry and CareCredit, operate under their own privacy policies.
Your choices
- Cookies. Your browser can block or delete them. Some parts of the site may work less well as a result.
- Analytics. Google provides an opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
- Do Not Track. We do not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals, as there is no agreed standard for doing so.
- Email. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. Appointment reminders and clinical messages are not marketing and continue unless you ask us to stop.
- Access and correction. Contact us to ask what we hold, correct it, or ask us to delete it. Dental records are subject to legal retention periods and to your rights under HIPAA.
- Texas residents. You may have additional rights under Texas law over your personal data. Contact us to exercise them.
Security, children and changes
Security. This site is served over HTTPS and we use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. No website or email system can be guaranteed completely secure, which is why detailed health information should go by phone or in person.
Children. This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information online. We do treat children as patients, with a parent or guardian providing their information directly to the practice.
Links out. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of sites we link to.
Changes. We may update this policy; the date at the top will change when we do. This version is current as of September 2026.
